Difficult Times Don't Last Forever

Sometimes, the problems you must face
are more than you wish to cope with,
and tomorrow doesn't seem
to offer any solutions.

You may ask yourself, "Why me?"
but the answer is sometimes unclear.
You may even tend to feel
that life hasn't been just or fair
to burden you with such obstacles.

The roads many of us choose
to follow are never free
of bumps or curves,
but eventually the turns
lead to a smoother path ahead.

Believe in yourself and your dreams,
You will soon realize that the future
holds many promises for you.
Remember .... difficult times dont last forever.

My thoughts:

This is a reality in life in which we all have to face. For us parents, we have somehow gotten used to it already. No one can be spared from it and that includes our Sons and Daughters.... no exceptions. Life is supposed to be difficult but All of us should be thankful for it... Why??? It is only by experiencing series of difficulties one after another that eventually transform us into a stronger and better person.

Personally, I've gone through a lot of difficult times. Many times, I thought that I won't be able to overcome it. But looking back at it, I have survived them all through perseverance and faith in God. It is also God's way of bringing us more closer to Him. It is in difficult times that we begin to realize that We need God. As the saying goes, " You will never know that God is all you should have until you realize that God is all you got." When you reach that point, it is only then that you'll begin to appreciate the title of this poem - "Difficult times Don't Last Forever." it may seem blurry for now, but it's tried and tested. God did not promise us a life without pains and sufferings but He promised us that He will always be with us in the midst of all our difficulties. In my own personal experience, HE always makes an opening to surpass my trials whenever I'm near the dead end. And I believe that the same also applies to everyone. We just have to cling to that truth, give it a little more time and everything will be okay.
